Linked open data

Linked data is structured data which is interlinked with other data so it becomes more useful through semantic queries (based on the shared meaning of concepts in different databases). A key aim is to make data integration automatic, even for large datasets. Linked data is usually represented using RDF.

Example of use

Good examples include Wikidata and the Linked Open Data Cloud.
